Adventuring

Adventuring

“Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.” - JK Rowling The Half-Blood Prince - Harry Potter

I couldn’t not be more excited, overwhelmed, and nervous to finally announce the addition of two incredible teammates to Mischief Managed. Dan & Emma join us with years of experience as an artist, creative, and administrator. They have the combined knowledge and expertise that will elevate this company in brand new directions.

Emma Fassler - PROJECT COORDINATOR - is a graduate of UCLA's school of Theater, Film and Television. She has worked as an actor in theater, film, television and commercials. She has also worked in casting, in script coverage and as an audition coach.

While Daniel Hirsch - MARKETING COORDINATOR - is a screenwriter, playwright, journalist, and overall seasoned communicator and storyteller. Whether producing grant applications, press packages, or promotional web copy, he’s become a skilled communicator about why art matters.

I can’t wait to see what we create together.

2. Artists have incredible networks that we don’t leverage enough

3. The gig economy is only increasing which should encourage each artist to solidify their brand

YEAR 3 GOALS:

*Secure grant funding to expand workshop offerings and possible scholarship opportunities

*Empower clients to have quantifiable goals and measures

*Grow the team in new office space with full-time support and expand the brand

*Keep working on my own art (keep submitting to open calls) + keeping leading discussions (keep submitting for workshops, panels, web, conferences)

Choosing to Celebrate

I wanted to take a vulnerable moment to say out loud, "thank you and please continue to hold me accountable". As a freelance artist and full-time entrepreneur it's easy to discount your work, time, and worth. But as I have encouraged my clients and community I in turn was pushed to practice what I preach. I had to choose to celebrate!
